Rincon del Sol is a beachside setting that stages a ceremony on the sand of one of Nerja's prettiest beaches, casual yet considered, with the dinner that follows close at hand. It suits couples who want barefoot informality and the sound of the water rather than a grand estate, and works best for a smaller, relaxed celebration. The trade is that a public beach is shared and weather exposed, so a wet weather plan matters.
A legally binding civil marriage in Spain generally requires one partner to be resident, so most foreign couples either marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Nerja, or arrange a Catholic church wedding where eligible.
