Tremezzo sits on the lush western shore of Lake Como, in the comune of Tremezzina, looking across the water to Bellagio and the Grigna mountains. It is one of the lake's most romantic settings, home to the Belle Epoque Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the famous gardens of Villa Carlotta, with historic villas such as Villa Sola Cabiati, Villa del Balbianello and Villa Balbiano along the same stretch of shore.
